The Dark Hedges
So like many of you I am a HUGE Game of Thrones fan, and I am lucky enough to live part time in Belfast. For those of you who don’t know, a lot of Game of Thrones is filmed in Northern Ireland, and when one of my friends came over to visit, it was only right we went to see some of the sites. The Dark Hedges was used during the second season for the Kingsroad, when Arya escapes King’s Landing disguised as a boy, whilst travelling on the back of a cart along with Yoren. This also happens to be one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland and has been voted one of the top 5 most beautiful tunnels in the world – pretty amazing, right?! It was busy but with a bit of patience I was able to capture an image with no one in it, best thing about it was, as we were leaving a bus load of people came! A must for any fan of Game of Thrones – or natural beauty.
