Shanghai by Day

Shanghai by Day

Last year I visited one of the most vibrant and electric cities, Shanghai. This year I got to relieve it all over again – and it was just as good second time around. This iconic view of Shanghai by day is impressive – the architecture is stunning and when the sun shone on the Pearl Tower it created a beautiful light across the river. This collection of buildings is set on its own island – which is sadly sinking – slowly but still sinking none the less. The metro (underground) provides easy access across to this side to gain access to the Pearl Tower, the Shanghai Tower and the Hyatt hotel (the bottle opener). By day its impressive, but come night time is when this place really comes alive.
